Canvas Support

On-demand faculty and student technical support for Canvas is available for all campuses on the Canvas.rutgers.edu website.

OIT Software Portal

The OIT Software Portal provides various software for purchase or download based on current licensing agreements. You will need to be an active faculty, staff or student member of the University to gain access.

Camden

Instructional Design and Technology Support (IDT)
Rutgers University–Camden provides support for faculty in teaching and research through many channels. Instructional Design & Technology (IDT) has been created specifically to support the appropriate integration of technology into the curriculum. Our goal is to work with faculty on proven (or experimental!) projects to improve, strengthen, and invigorate the experience of learning and teaching.

Newark

Academic Technology Support (ATS)
Academic Technology Support’s goal is to partner with faculty and students to provide educational technology support and enrich coursework creating excellence in teaching and learning. Operationally, the office provides support for faculty with their instructional technology needs and technology-enhanced classroom facilities, computer classrooms, as well as audiovisual checkout equipment.

New Brunswick

Digital Classroom Services

Digital Classroom Services designs and installs classroom presentation technology, supports its daily use, and works with faculty to maximize the teaching experience on the New Brunswick Campus. DCS has support staff available to assist instructors in their use of classroom technology. DCS also has a team of instructional technologists dedicated training faculty to not only use DCS equipment, but to maximize their learning experience by utilizing all of the teaching methods available through classroom technology.

Center for Teaching Advancement and Assessment Research (CTAAR)

The Center for Teaching Advancement and Assessment Research supports teaching and learning through a variety of areas: pedagogy and faculty development, assessment programs, instructional technologies, classroom technologies, and faculty and staff information technologies. We provide resources and information on the improvement of teaching, the use and development of teaching assessment methods, and assistance in the use and development of learning outcome assessment. We also help conduct research on new methods of teaching, learning and assessment practices.

Rutgers IT Accessibility Initiative

The Rutgers IT accessibility initiative provides resources for the Rutgers community to improve the accessibility of websites, courses, online instruction, and other materials. Included are tools to aid in web accessibility, online course accessibility, instructional materials, assistive and adaptive technology, video/multimedia captioning, and software procurement.

Rutgers Access and Disability Resources (RADR)
